The idea that your environment determines your mind has never been one that I subscribed to. That is until I got a little corner to call my own. With my first draft at a college essay, I used the pun “cha-millie-on” to describe myself. Needless to say, it didn’t land, but at the age of 22, this euphemism still stands—I don’t know what I am great at. I know what I’m good at, what I can do, and what I’ll offer when given the chance. Extraordinarily equipped with? Well, that’s all I’ve been asking myself and everyone else; maybe you’ll tell me when you see.
So this is to say: I’m sharing a studio space, and I’m figuring out what to do with it.

Right now, what I am is grateful for this start and the talented kind friends it hugs.
