i got through text today
green dashing across the pavement
a white pouch turtling behind
this made me smile
i like it when they recognize me
is it my walk
maybe my christmas tree hat
or has this maroon-navy skirt seen too much of Chicago
but then
a green little spot is but a green little spot
i hope it made them smile
